VR Storytelling Workshop in Spring 2022

CES is excited to offer ITDL-415 Storycraft Workshop - a seven week, one-credit workshop on Making VR Experiences the second half of the spring semester.  The 1-credit workshop meets weekly for seven weeks on Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m.-8:15 p.m. in the MAGIC VR Lab.

Using Oculus Touch and/or HTC Vive with Unreal Engine 4 for beginners, participants will learn to create a VR that incorporates basic interactivity with visual and spatial storytelling. Through lecture, reading, and critique, you will learn to create compelling environments using Unreal 4 VR templates, basic visual scripting with blueprints, importing models and creating materials. No previous experience necessary. Seats limited.
